Editorial Policy

This page explains how articles on AI Tool Stack are produced: how topics are chosen, how drafts are written, what checks run before something is published, who is accountable for the result, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.

We publish this because we use AI in our workflow and we would rather describe that plainly than let readers guess.

1. Who is responsible for this site

AI Tool Stack is owned and operated by Asish Shrestha, Founder & Lead Writer. Editorial responsibility for everything published here rests with a named person, not with a brand or an automated system. If an article is inaccurate, misleading, or unhelpful, that is our responsibility to correct.

2. How articles are written, and how we use AI

Articles are written and edited by a person and published by hand through our own editing interface. There is no automated publishing pipeline on this site: nothing appears here unless someone decided to put it there.

We may use AI tools as a research and drafting aid — to summarise documentation, check a technical detail, or produce a first outline. Where that happens, the result is edited, verified, and rewritten as needed before publication. We do not publish raw, unedited model output.

We do not use AI to fabricate first-hand experience, invent quotations, impersonate a real person, or manufacture test results we did not actually observe. Where an article describes hands-on experience with a tool, that experience is real.

3. What happens before an article goes live

Every draft runs through automated checks before it can be published. A draft is rejected if it is missing a title, meta title, meta description, or named author; if it falls below our minimum length; if it duplicates an existing article's topic or URL; if it contains no internal link or has no valid canonical URL; or if it still contains empty headings, leftover placeholder text, or broken formatting artifacts.

Clearing those checks does not publish anything. Publishing is a deliberate manual action taken by a person, and an article stays unpublished until someone takes it. Nothing on this site goes live automatically.

That gate exists because automated checks are a floor, not a substitute for judgement: they catch thin, duplicated, and malformed content, but they cannot verify that a claim is true. That remains a human responsibility, and it is why the corrections process in section 5 matters.

4. Accuracy, sources, and independence

• Pricing and features change. Details about software tools are accurate to the best of our knowledge on the date of publication or last update. Vendors change pricing and feature sets frequently. Always confirm current details with the vendor before making a purchasing decision.
• No paid placement. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable review, a ranking position, or inclusion in a list.
• Advertising is separate from editorial. This site displays advertising, including through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no input into our articles and no advance sight of them. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.

5. Corrections

We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If you find a factual error, an out-of-date price, a broken example, or a claim that does not hold up, email contact.aitoolstack@gmail.com with the article URL and what is wrong.

How we handle it:

• Substantive factual errors are corrected in the article itself, and the update date is changed.
• Corrections that materially change the meaning or conclusion of an article are noted at the foot of that article rather than made silently.
• Minor fixes such as typos, broken links, and formatting are made without a note.
• If an article cannot be brought up to standard, we remove it rather than leave it published.

6. Updates to this policy

Our process changes as the site grows. When it does, we update this page and change the effective date above rather than quietly changing how we work. Questions about anything here can go to contact.aitoolstack@gmail.com.
